FRISCO, Texas – HCU senior right side Anna Gadway has been selected as the Southland Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, as voted on by the sports information directors and announced by the league office Monday.
 
Gadway hit .568 with 24 kills, averaging 4.00 kills per set as the Huskies swept their two matches to remain tied atop the conference standings. The Needville, Texas, native had 10 kills and only one error in Thursday's victory over Northwestern State, then had 14 kills with two errors in Saturday's sweep of Lamar.
 
The Huskies have three matches this week, beginning Tuesday at McNeese, who is also tied for first, before returning home against UIW Thursday and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Saturday.
