HAMMOND, LA – The Huskies fall to Southeastern in straight sets (19-25, 22-25, 21-25).
HCU (16-8, 8-3 SLC) were led by senior outside hitter
Anna Gadway who recorded 10 kills, five digs, and two assists. Sophomore middle blocker
Audrey Pearce had eight kills, five digs, and three blocks while sophomore outside hitter
Sara Arroyo had eight kills, one block, and one dig. Redshirt freshman setter
Grace McLaughlin dished out 28 assists, two blocks, and six digs. Sophomore defensive specialist
Alexia Jones led the team defensively with 15 digs while senior libero
Kaley Feris wasn't far behind with 12 digs and one assist. Sophomore defensive specialist
Tatiana Evans added ten digs.
SLU (17-6, 7-4 SLC) were led by Kailin Newsome who recorded a double-double with 11 kills and ten digs. Ryley Boyne added 11 kills and two blocks while Gracie Duplechein dished out 18 assists, nine digs, and a kill. Ansley Tullis lead the Lady Lions defensively with 16 digs.
The Huskies return home to Sharp Gym on Thursday, October 27
th to take on Northwestern State at 6:30 p.m.
