HCU (14-7, 6-2 SLC) were led by junior outside hitter
Sara Arroyo who recorded 11 kills, one block, and one dig. Freshman outside hitter
Shelby O'Neal had seven kills, one block, and one dig. Redshirt freshman setter
Grace McLaughlin dished out 22 assists, two kills, and seven digs. Junior libero
Kaley Feris led the team defensively with 16 digs while senior outside hitter
Anna Gadway wasn't far behind with 14 digs, five kills, and one block. Freshman defensive specialist
Hazel Allen had nine digs and one kill.
A&M-CC (6-16, 6-2 SLC) were led by Kyndal Payne with 15 kills, 12 digs, and one assist. Faith Panhans has dished out 35 assists along with seven digs and five kills. Carissa Barnes lead the Islanders defensively with 22 digs and four assists.
The Huskies return home to Sharp Gym on Saturday, October 15
th to take on New Orleans at 11:00 a.m.
New Orleans (11-9, 5-3 SLC) are led by Sophia Ewalefo with 184 kills on the season and averaging 2.80 kills/set. Kamryn Scroggins has dished out 552 assists and averages 8.12 assists per set on the year. The Privateers are led defensively by Sheilah Purcell with 246 digs while Mauri Carver has 72 blocks on the season.
