NATCHITOCHES, La. – HCU remained undefeated in Southland Conference play, winning its fifth straight, following a four-set victory over Northwestern State Saturday in Prather Coliseum, 25-21, 25-19, 19-25, 25-23.
The Huskies (13-5, 5-0 SLC) were led by freshman outside hitter 
Shelby O'Neal who totaled 16 kills and four digs. Junior outside hitter 
Sara Arroyo added 15 kills and sophomore middle blocker 
Audrey Pearce had 12 with three blocks. Senior right side 
Anna Gadway added nine kills and seven digs and senior middle blocker 
Jada Allen recorded eight kills. Redshirt freshman setter 
Grace McLaughlin recorded a double-double with career highs of 46 assists and 16 digs, while junior libero 
Kaley Feris anchored the HCU defense with 25 digs.
The Lady Demons (10-, 3-3 SLC) were led by Breanna Burrell who recorded 15 kills and Symone Wesley added 11 points and 28 digs. Ashlyn Svoboda added 16 digs for NSU.
The Huskies return to action Thursday against UIW in San Antonio at 6 p.m.
