Jasie Roberts tallies fourth season home run

SAN MARCOS – HBU walked six while Bobcats added six stolen bases with three of them comings around to score, as Texas State takes final non-conference matchup, 4-2, on Wednesday evening in San Marcos, Texas at the Bobcat Softball Stadium.

Tara Oltmann tallied an RBI with a sacrifice fly and Sara Vanderford tallied an RBI from a fielder's choice out.

The Bobcats went on the board early after two walks and two stolen bases led to a run in the bottom of the first. Teams remained scoreless until Lemons brought in Cat Crenek who was walked at the start of the inning.

With a walk and two more stolen bases from the Bobcats, Hannah Earls advanced home after a wild pitch in the fifth. After a sacrifice fly from Vanderford, Randolph brought in the final Texas State run.

Reigning Southland Conference Hitter of the Week Brockway, sends it down the left field line for a double in the sixth. Roberts stepped up to the plate and knocked her fourth season home run to center field for two RBIs. But with three straight outs, the Bobcats nabbed the win.
