LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The Huskies traveled to Las Vegas to face off against the UNLV Rebels and fell 1-0 in the in the 71st minute on Friday night at the Johann Memorial field on March 5.
The Huskies fell to a 0-4-1overall record and 0-4 in WAC play. HBU put up nine shots with three coming in on goal. Alex Reyes led the way with game high four shots with two dangerous shots on goal. JP Becerra started in the goal with three saves on the night.
The Rebels hooked their first win of the season improving their WAC record to 1-1-2. Gabriel Claudio led the way with three shots and one shot on goal, sealing the victory with the goal assisted by Bailey Letherman. Miguel Duenas Jr. got the shutout in goal for the Rebels with three saves on the night.
The Huskies will return to Sorrels Field on Saturday, March 13 at 2 p.m. to face off with visiting San Jose State.
