Gustavo Otero posts 8 saves in HBU debut, Natera scores 11th career goal

ST. GEORGE, Utah – After posting an early first goal, Dixie State answered back as the HBU men's soccer team fell in an overtime goal in the 94th minute on Saturday night.

HBU (0-5-2,0-5-1 WAC) got on the board first in the 17th minute with a goal by Gianluca Natera, his first for his senior campaign. The Trailblazers (2-4-0 WAC) caught up late in the first half with a goal to tie it up. Regulation ended in a stalemate, sending the Huskies into their third overtime this season. The Trailblazers were the first to take a shot but was saved by Jonathan Ramirez. Dixie State quickly recovered and reached the lower left corner for the victory goal.

The Huskies had eight shots to the Trailblazers 21 with four shots on goal to their 10. Nikolai Shumov scored the first goal for Dixie State with Logan Beus capturing the win assisted by Idris Alabi and Shumov.
