ABILENE, Texas – After a pair of postponed games the HBU men's basketball team is set to return to the hardwood for the first time in two weeks on Wednesday when they visit Abilene Christian. Husky fans can watch the game on ESPN+ and listen to the live Husky Sports Network audio broadcast with Lonnie King providing play-by-play available at HBUHuskies.com.

The Huskies (3-12, 2-5 SLC) have had their last two games postponed after picking up a 73-57 road win at UIW on Jan. 27. HBU enjoyed its best rebounding game of the season in that win, holding a +8 margin of 39-31 and closing the game with a 13-3 advantage on the boards.

The last time the Huskies and Wildcats (16-3, 8-1 SLC) met was in Sharp Gym on Jan. 6 with ACU escaping with a 66-63 victory. HBU turned the ball over 15 times in that game while forcing ACU into 14 miscues. That was the second-lowest turnover total of the season against a Wildcats team that leads the nation in both turnovers forced and turnover margin.

While Wednesday's game will be the first in two weeks for the Huskies, it will mark the third game in five days for the Wildcats who played at Lamar on Saturday and then at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Monday. They defeated Lamar by 15, 77-62, and the Islanders by 13, 82-69. ACU has won its last five games.

Senior center Kolton Kohl leads ACU with 11.7 points per game while fellow senior guard Coryon Mason is adding 10.6 ppg and junior Joe Pleasant is averaging 10.3 ppg and a team-best 5.8 rebounds per game. In conference play, ACU leads the league in scoring defense allowing just 61.3 ppg.

HBU will return home for a game this Saturday, Feb. 13, when the Huskies host the Lamar Cardinals in Sharp Gym at 5:00 p.m.
