The Huskies head into the season with a balanced roster when it comes to classification with four seniors, four juniors, five sophomores and four freshman. Sophomore

This season marks season number 31 for James Sears Bryant Head Men's Basketball Coach

Texas comes into the year with a new head coach in Chris Beard and boasts a roster filled with just four returning lettermen and a number of transfers. Top returners for the Longhorns are guards Andrew Jones and Courtney Ramey. Both averaged double-digits scoring per game last season.
The Longhorns brought in seven transfers through the transfer portal, Marcus Carr (Minnesota), Tre Mitchell (UMass), Timmy Allen (Utah), Dylan Disu (Vanderbilt), Devin Askew (Kentucky), Christian Bishop (Creighton) and Avery Benson (Texas Tech) whose scoring averages last season combine to equal 89 points per game.
This will be the second all-time meeting between the Huskies and Longhorns with the lone prior meeting coming during the 2013-14 season. HBU dropped that game 89-61.
The Huskies will be home inside Sharp Gym on Saturday, Nov. 13, for their home opener against the Barclay Bears at 7:00 p.m.
