BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – It'll be an early midweek tip-off for the HBU men's basketball team this Wednesday when the Huskies make the short trip to face Texas A&M at Reed Arena for a noon start. Fans can watch the game through SEC Network Plus and ESPN+ and listen on the Husky Sports Network with Garrett Jones on play-by-play, available at HBUHuskies.com.

HBU (1-1) heads into Wednesday's game following one of the program's largest margins of victory ever, a 122-44 win over visiting Barclay. The Huskies connected on a school record 22 three-pointers in the win and that number is currently tied for the most threes in one game among all Division I teams this season. Freshman Tristan Moore erupted or 26 points in the win and finished 6-of-8 from three after knocking down his first five shot attempts, all from behind the arc. In total, six different players scored in double-figures for HBU.

As a team, the Huskies are averaging 85 points per game and shooting 47.5 percent (57-of-120) from the field. HBU has also been strong on the boards, out-rebounding opponents by 17 rebounds per game and the team's 16.5 offensive rebounds per game ranks 19th in the nation.

Texas A&M (3-0) will be playing its fourth consecutive game at home, most recently defeating fellow Southland Conference member Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on Sunday, 86-65. TAMU had five players score in double-digits in the win but was out-rebounded by the Islanders, 37-35.

The Aggies are being led by a trio of transfers with sophomore forward Henry Coleman III, a transfer from Duke, leading the way with 15.3 points per game and second on the team with 6.7 rebounds per game. Sophomore guard Marcus Williams, a transfer from Wyoming, is second on the team in scoring at 11 ppg and second with nine assists. Tyrece Radford, a junior guard transfer from Virginia Tech, leads the Aggies with seven rpg and is also adding 10.7 ppg.

This will be the 10th all-time meeting between the Huskies and Aggies with Texas A&M holding a 9-0 advantage. The last time the two programs met was Jan. 3, 2013 in Bryan-College Station. HBU fell 67-59 in that game with the Huskies trailing by just two points with 6:20 remaining before the Aggies pulled away and led by at least five in the closing minutes to hold off the Huskies.

The Huskies head out of state for the first time this season for a Sunday, Nov. 21, matchup with the Denver Pioneers in Denver Colo. at 3:00 p.m. CT before heading on to Norman, Okla. for a Wednesday, Nov. 24, game against Oklahoma.
