Anna Gadway was unstoppable, hitting .484 with 15 kills, no errors, while adding 13 digs and three blocks for her third double-double of the season to lead the Huskies a 3-0 (25-19, 25-21, 25-21) victory over Nicholls in Southland Conference volleyball Saturday afternoon in Sharp Gym.
The Huskies (12-5, 3-0 SLC) remained unbeaten at home and recorded their fourth-straight sweep.

Devon Bright led Nicholls (7-8, 0-3) with 13 kills, Emily Gauthreaux had eight and Aaliyah Burras had seven. Lilly Bivens had 27 assists and 13 digs, while Kylie Lockhart led the Colonels defensively with 15 digs.
HBU hit .278 for the match, with Nicholls hitting .190. The Huskies outdug the Colonels, 54-50, while each team had six blocks. HBU had four aces to Nicholls' one.
The Huskies scored six of the first seven points of the match behind three kills from Gadway. Nicholls fought its way back within one at 14-13, but HBU scored three-straight, capped by back-to-back aces by Stapleton. The Colonels would get no closer as the Huskies took the set, 25-19.
With the second set tied, 9-9, HBU ripped off a six-point run, which included three kills and a block by Arroyo. The Huskies led by as many as seven before settling for a 25-21 decision.
HBU led 13-9 in the third, but Nicholls scored five-straight points to lead for the first time in the match. The score was knotted at 16-16 when the Huskies took control with a three-point spurt. HBU kept Nicholls at arms length, then Arroyo put the match away with a kill.
The Huskies hit the road for the first time in league play, heading to Louisiana to face Northwestern State Thursday in Natchitoches, followed by Southeastern Saturday in Hammond.
