TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - HBU fell to No. 2 Florida State, 5-0, then No. 13 South Carolina escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Huskies at the Seminole Beach Bash Saturday.

The Huskies claimed wins at the top two positions against the Gamecocks, with South Carolina getting a three-set victory at the five spot to provide the difference.

HBU takes on Tampa, followed by No. 9 Stetson to wrap up the season-opening tournament Sunday.
