MBB: Jake Arnold Signs NLI to Join Huskies

Arnold will come to HBU from nearby Katy Taylor High School



HOUSTON – James Sears Bryant Head Men's Basketball Coach Ron Cottrell announced the signing of local product Jake Arnold to a National Letter of Intent to become part of the HBU men's basketball program for the 2021-22 season on Friday morning.
 
Jake Arnold – Katy, Texas (Taylor High School), 6-3, 195 lb., Guard
 
Arnold, a 6-3 guard from nearby Katy Taylor High School where he plays for coach Matt Brayton, will join the Huskies after earning all-region honors as a junior. He averaged 23.5 points per game during his junior season, connecting on 50.5 percent from the floor while adding 6.5 rebounds and two steals per game. In addition to his all-region recognition, he was a first team all-district performer and was among the final 25 candidates for the Guy V. Lewis Award, recognizing the top high school basketball player in the greater Houston area. Off the court, Arnold his a member of the National Honor Society.
 
Arnold on HBU:
