HOUSTON – HBU returns against Nicholls to finish up a back-to-back set at home in Southland Conference women's basketball Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Sharp Gym. The Husky Sports Network broadcast with Bill Cousins will be available on HBUHuskies.com.

Senior guard Shannon Jones has scored in double figures each of the last two contests, averaging 15 points and adding two blocks per game for the Huskies (4-11, 0-6 SLC). Junior forward Patience Idoko scored a career-high 12 points in her last game, in addition to her three rebounds. The Huskies as a team recorded a season-high in nine blocks, which they hope can carry over to their next matchup.

Guard Airi Hamilton comes into the game with an average of 11.2 points per game, while shooting a team-high 47.9 percent from the field for the Colonels (4-13, 1-7). The Colonels as a team are shooting 38.4 percent from the field, alongside an average of 32.9 rebounds per game.

The Huskies head to Lake Charles to take on McNeese Saturday at 1 p.m. at the H&HPE Complex.
