HOUSTON- HBU Men's Soccer kicked off the season with a 2-0 victory over the Wofford Terriers Friday night at Sorrels Field.

Thomas Menke got things started for the Huskies with a goal 25 minutes into play off of the assist from
Nick Coburn. Action really picked up in the second half as play began to get physical. A total of four cards were given out with three yellows going towards the Husky side and one red to the Terrier side.
Jordi Cobo came into the game as a substitute and added HBU's second goal. Cobo was able to take the ball away deep in Wofford territory and blast one to the back of the net.Â
Jorge Cabrera got the win in goal for HBU with four saves on the night. In all the Huskies totaled nine shots with three on goal. The Terriers had 10 shots with 5 on goal on the night.Â
The Huskies will next hit the road to begin a four game road trip as they face off against the SMU Mustangs Monday September 2nd at 7:00 P.M.
