BVB: HBU Takes Southland Showcase Title

Huskies win tournament for second-straight year

COVINGTON, La. - The HBU beach volleyball team claimed the Southland Showcase title with a 4-1 victory over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Digs Volleyball Complex.

The Huskies (17-11) defeated Central Arkansas, 3-2, in the semifinals and finished the season with an eight-match winning streak.

HBU won both Southland Showcase titles, before the sport will be recognized with its own Southland Conference championship beginning in 2020.
