WBB: HBU Travels to Louisiana to Take on ULM
HOUSTON, TX- HBU Women's Basketball travels to Monroe, Louisiana to take on the Warhawks Saturday at noon.
HBU (3-4) is coming off a loss to Northern Arizona last Sunday night where sophomore guard
Julija Vujakovic still shined scoring a career high 17 points on 7-13 shooting.
Megan Valdez-Crader and
Timia Jefferson also added 11 points a piece. Jefferson leads the team in scoring averaging 10.5 per game with Valdez-Crader right behind her with 8.1 points per game.
N'Denasija Collins leads the Huskies in rebounding with 27 on the season.
ULM (1-5) are led by Lauren Fitch who is averaging 16 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Diamond Brooks follows her up with 8.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Kierra Crockett rounds out the leaders 7,5 and 7.3 rebounds per game.
The Warhawks are coming off a 69-72 loss to fellow Southland Conference team McNeese.
HBU will then travel to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech Dec. 15th at noon.
