WBB: HBU Set for New Year's Day Action Against UCA
CONWAY, ARKANSAS- HBU Women's Basketball travels to Conway, Arkansas to face off with Central Arkansas in a midday matchup at 1:00 P.M.
HBU (4-7, 0-2 SLC) is led in scoring by
Timia Jefferson who is averaging 10.3 points per game and is coming off a 22 point performance against Southeastern Louisiana.
Megan Valdez-Crader follows her up with 9.3 points a game to go with 3.1 rebounds a game.
Julija Vujakovic rounds out the top scorers averaging 7.8 points per game.Â
Central Arkansas (5-6, 1-1 SLC) is coming off a 47-67 loss to Texas A&M-CC on the road. The Sugar Bears are led by Taylor Sells who averages 9.2 points and 4.5 rebounds a game. Hannah Langhi follows her up with 8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Terri Crawford rounds them out with 7.1 points and 5.2 rebounds a game.Â
The Huskies will then travel to Northwestern State followed by a trip to Lamar before returning home to Sharp Gym to face off against Sam Houston State.
