Mikayla Vivens each posted double-doubles as the Huskies clinched a berth in the Southland Conference Tournament with a 3-1 (25-19, 22-25, 25-16, 25-22) victory over Northwestern State Saturday afternoon in Sharp Gym.
Colwell registered 17 kills and 17 digs, while Vivens had 14 kills and 12 digs for the Huskies (16-13, 8-6 SLC). Junior middle blocker

Camie Copeland had 14 as both were honored on Senior Day in the final home match of their careers.
Hannah Brister had 19 kills and nine digs for the Lady Demons (18-10, 10-4), while Alexis Warren had nine kills and 12 digs. Cayman Sutton and Skylar Besch each had 16 assists. Megan Lohmiller came up with 27 digs.
The Huskies hit .175 for the match, while holding the Lady Demons to .126. HBU outdug NSU, 83-76, and the Lady Demons held a 10.0-7.0 advantage in blocks. The Huskies recorded nine aces to the Lady Demons' three.
HBU wraps up the regular season on the road next week, facing Nicholls Thursday, followed by the regular-season finale against New Orleans Saturday. The conference tournament will follow Nov. 22-24 in Conway, Arkansas.
