THIBODAUX, La. – Three Huskies recorded double-digit kills as HBU swept Nicholls, 3-0 (25-22, 25-12, 25-23), in Southland Conference volleyball Thursday night in Stopher Gym.
 
Junior outside hitter Mikayla Vivens had 11 kills and 13 digs, while junior right side Ashtyn Richey also had 11 kills. Sophomore outside hitter Kelly Colwell also posted a double-double with 10 kills and 10 digs. Sophomore middle blocker Ebonie Ballesteros added six kills. Junior setter Morgan Dewyer had 31 assists, four kills and seven digs for the Huskies (17-12, 9-6 SLC).
 
Katie Jones, Emily Gauthreaux and Aaliyah Burras each had six kills for Nicholls (11-16, 5-11). Meghan Wozniak had 21 assists and nine digs and Emily Venable recorded 18 digs.
 
HBU hit .281 for the match, while holding Nicholls to .146. The Huskies outdug the Colonels, 54-48, and outaced them, 5-2. Nicholls held a 5-4 advantage in blocks.
 
The Huskies wrap up the regular season against New Orleans at noon Saturday in New Orleans.
