NEW ORLEANS - New Orleans claimed a 3-1 (25-23, 22-25, 28-26, 25-18) victory over HBU in the Southland Conference regular-season finale Saturday in the Health & Human Performance Center.

Ashtyn Richey led the Huskies (17-14, 9-7 SLC) with 15 kills each, with Vivens recording a double-double by adding 22 digs. Junior middle blocker
Megan Patillo had 10 kills and three blocks. Junior setter
Morgan Dewyer had 45 assists and 13 digs and senior libero
Hannah Lewis added 17 digs.
Ehize Omoghibo paced the Privateers with 17 kills and 12, while Brianna Vega, Chloe Hampton and Sh'Diamond Holly each had 10 kills. Lucie Pokorna registered 45 assists, five kills and eight digs. Rhyan Rand came up with 19 digs, Kayla Cornett had 16 and Andrea Nava 15.
HBU hit .199, while UNO hit .182. The Privateers held a slight advantage in digs, 75-74, and each team had six blocks. UNO recorded nine aces to HBU's three.
The Huskies return to action at the Southland Conference Tournament Friday in Conway, Arkansas.
