WBB: Huskies Return Home to Face Northern Arizona
HOUSTON, TX- HBU Women's Basketball returns home to Sharp Gym to take on Northern Arizona at 2:00 P.M. Sunday after a four game road stretch.
HBU (3-3) is led by
Megan Valdez-Crader and
Kennedy Wilson who are averaging just under eight points and just over three rebounds per game. The pair also led the team in assists with Valdez-Crader leading with 11 and Wilson just behind her with 10.
Timia Jefferson leads the Huskies in scoring with 10.3 points per game.
N'Denasija Collins is HBU's leading rebounder on a per game basis with 4.2 a game.Â
Northern Arizona (1-3) is coming into the matchup after back to back losses to California Baptist and Fresno State. The Lumberjacks have four players in double-digit scoring numbers led by Nina Radford with 17.8 points a game to go with 5.8 rebounds a game. Jacey Bailey is behind her with 13.5 points and leads Northern Arizona with 7.3 rebounds per game. Khiarica Rasheed follows them up with 13 points and four rebounds a game.Â
The Huskies will then head to ULM December 7th and Texas Tech December 15th before starting Southland Conference play.
