HOUSTON - HBU wraps up a three-game homestand with its second-straight Southland Conference matchup, a Family Weekend contest against Abilene Christian Saturday at 6:05 p.m. at Husky Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and the DNA Studios audio broadcast is available on HBUHuskies.com.

Bailey Zappe, who has completed 39-of-66 passes for 562, yards, six touchdowns, which is tied for third nationally, and a pair of interceptions. Sophomore running back
Dreshawn Minnieweather ranks ninth in the nation with 126.0 rushing yards per game and has scored three touchdowns. Senior
David Racine leads HBU with 128 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while all three of junior
Jeremy Smith's receptions have gone for scores.

Langston Tunson leads the nation in tackles with 17.5 per game, after tying the school record with 19 stops last week against No. 14 McNeese, and is also tied for sixth in the nation with three sacks and has an interception. Sophomore linebacker

Kyle Bowling has 17 and an interception.

Luke Anthony has completed 60-of-94 passes for 601 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions for ACU (1-1, 0-0). Billy McCrary has rushed for 159 yards and a score, while Tracy James has 136 yards and a touchdown. Josh Fink has 11 receptions for 191 yards and two touchdowns, with D.J. Fuller, Kobe Clark and Chase Cokley all with nine catches.

Jeremiah Chambers leads the Wildcats with 16 tackles, including three for loss and a sack. Erik Huhn has 15 stops and Bolu Onifade has 14. Brandon Richmond, Koy Richardson and Adonis Davis each have an interception.

ACU leads the all-time series against HBU, 3-1, including last year's 24-3 victory on Sept. 16, 2017 in Abilene. The Huskies won the last meeting in Houston, a 27-24, overtime thriller on Sept. 17, 2016.

HBU will have its bye week next week, returning to action against FBS and American Athletic Conference member SMU Saturday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. in Dallas. The Huskies follow with back-to-back Southland road games against currently-ranked No. 17 Central Arkansas and Southeastern Louisiana, which is receiving votes in both the AFCA Coaches and STATS FCS Polls.
