Junior guard
Amanda Johnson leads the Huskies' (6-14, 2-8 SLC) scoring, while maintaining the fourth best scoring average in the conference. She is shooting 44.9 percent from the floor, 33.3 percent (21-of-63) from the 3- point line and is fifth in the conference, shooting 84.3 percent (59-of-70) from the free-throw line. Johnson is averaging 16.3 points and 4.9 boards per contest. Sophomore guard
Sophie Taylor averages 8.8 points and 3.1 rebounds, while sophomore forward
Lauren Calver, who is fifth in the conference with a 47.7 percent field-goal percentage, averages 8.7 points and 3.8 boards. Junior center
Veronika Kirienko leads the Huskies in rebounding with 5.2 boards and adds 5.8 points a game.
The Sugar Bears (15-7, 8-3 SLC) are led by three players who average double-digits in scoring. Taylor Baudoin is shooting 51.8 percent from the field with 14.2 points and 6.9 rebounds a game. Kamry Orr averages 13.2 points a 3.3 boards per game, leading the team with 41 steals. Kierra Jordan adds 11.0 points and leads the team with 8.4 rebounds a game.
The Huskies remain on the road for their next match-up against Nicholls Saturday, Feb. 10 at 1 p.m. They will return to Sharp Gym to host Northwestern State on Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. and Sam Houston State Saturday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m.
