Lauren Calver recorded her second double-double of the season, helping the Huskies to improve their home record to 5-5.

Amanda Johnson is shooting 43.8 percent from the field and 24-of-75 from the 3-point range. She averages 15.7 points and 4.5 rebounds. Calver has a field-goal percentage of 45.7 percent and averages 8.8 points and 4.5 rebounds. In conference play alone, she averages 10.6 points and 5.4 rebounds. Sophomore guard

Sydney Carr adds 7.8 points and 3.7 rebounds a game.
Sam Houston State (4-19, 1-13 SLC) is led by Jenniffer Oramas, who is shooting 33.8 percent from the floor with 1.5 points and 3.4 boards a game. Lydia Baxter shoots 48.3 percent from the floor with 8.9 points and leads the team with 7.0 rebounds a game. Kierra Mckinney contributes 6.6 points, 5.7 boards a game and leads the team in blocks (31), while Akarian Morgan adds 6.4 points, while leading the team in steals (35) and assists (45).
HBU claimed a 69-61 win over Sam Houston back in January in Huntsville, Texas, improving their all-time record against SHSU to 9-5.
The Huskies will remain on the road for both games next week, visiting Lamar Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m. and McNeese Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.
