Amanda Johnson continues to lead the scoring for the Huskies (6-16, 2-10 SLC), shooting 44.6 percent from the field, while maintaining a top five scoring average in the conference with 16.0 points and pulls down 4.6 rebounds a game. Sophomore forward
Lauren Calver is shooting 45.8 percent from the field, averaging 8.8 points and 4.2 boards a game, contributing 10.7 points in conference play. Sophomore guard
Sophie Taylor averages 8.5 points and 2.9 rebounds, while sophomore guard
Sydney Carr averages 8.1 points overall and 9.7 points in conference. Other team leaders include junior center Veronkia Kirienko (5.5 rebounds a game), freshman guard

Libba Gilliam, Nautica Grant and Cheyenne Brown lead Northwestern State (7-17, 2-11 SLC) in double digits. Brown averages 13.5 points and 4.2 boards. Grant is shooting 36.9 percent from the floor and 38-of-106 from the 3-point range with 10.5 points per contest. Gilliam is shooting 44.9 percent from the field, averaging 10.2 points and 4.3 rebounds, while Gabby Bell leads the Lady Demons with 117 assists, which is third in the conference, and 46 steals.
The Huskies will remain at Sharp Gym for a 1 p.m. game against Sam Houston State. They will return to the road to face Lamar Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., followed by McNeese Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m.
