WBB: Huskies Return to Sharp Gym to Take on University of the Southwest
HOUSTON- HBU women's basketball returns home to Sharp Gym to take on the Mustangs of the University of the Southwest Tuesday night at 7:00p.m.
The Huskies have been pushed by the stellar shooting of senior guard
Amanda Johnson who has averaged 21 points on 53.3% shooting from behind the arc in the last two games. Sophomore
Taylor Kollmorgen continues her strong performance in the paint by grabbing five rebounds and shooting 4-6 from the field in the Huskies last contest against Texas Tech. Kollmorgen was assisted in the paint by senior center
Kennedy Collins who snagged seven rebounds and adding 14 points. HBU (3-2) looks to get back into the win column to remain perfect at home on the season.
University of the Southwest (2-4) are coming off a loss to Sul Ross State University which saw nine of the twelve players that saw action scoring and 27 points scored by the Mustang bench. Mykal Thomas led the way for the Mustangs by posting 13 points and three rebounds.
The Huskies next action comes on the road as they face off against North Texas Dec. 5 at 11:30a.m.
