WBB: Huskies Set to Face Off Against Big 12's Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas- HBU women's basketball travels up to Lubbock, Texas took take on Big 12 foe Texas Tech Saturday afternoon at United Supermarkets Arena at 2:00 p.m. central.
The Huskies (3-1) are coming off a dominant performance against Howard Payne that saw Senior guard Amanda Johnson put up 23 points leading the HBU to a 93-60 win. Johnson is leading the Huskies in points per game with 14. Sophomore Taylor Kollmorgen is tied for second on the squad averaging 11.8 ppg adding 10 rebounds per game. As a team, the Huskies are averaging 5.8 blocks per game with a season high of nine coming against McMurry.
Texas Tech (3-1) is coming off a 78-61 win against a fellow Southland Conference team Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Red Raiders are led by junior forward Brittany Brewer who is averaging 14.5 ppg and 12.3 rebounds per game. Chrislyn Carr, a freshman guard, is second on the team 13.8 points per game. As a team, Texas Tech is out-rebounding teams by over 15 boards a game.
The Huskies return home to Sharp Gym against the University of the Southwest Nov. 27 Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
