WBB: Huskies Travel to Face Off Against Wichita State Saturday
WICHITA, Kansas- HBU women's basketball looks for third straight victory on Saturday when they look to challenge the Wichita State Shockers Saturday at 2p.m.
The Huskies (2-0) have been led by the stellar play of redshirt sophomore Taylor Kollmorgen who is averaging 17.5 points and 13 rebounds per game. Junior guard Shannon Jones has also had a strong start to the 2018-19 season building off her success late last season averaging 14 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.
The Shockers of Wichita State (3-0) have two players averaging double digit points per game, Senior Sabrina Lozada-Cabbage and Freshman Carla Bremaud. Lozada-Cabbage is posting 13.3 points adding 4.3 rebounds a game. Bremaud is posting 10.7 points and 2.7 rebounds a game.
After their tilt with the Shockers the Huskies will head back home to face off against Howard Payne University Nov. 21 Wednesday at 7p.m. The Huskies will then hit the road to face off against the Big 12 member Texas Tech Nov. 24 Saturday at 2.pm.
