Langston Tunson ranks third in the nation with 12.6 tackles per game (101 total) and ranks 10 with 13.5 tackles for loss, while sophomore linebacker
Caleb Johnson ranks 25th nationally with 9.2 tackles per game (92 total) and among the top 50 with 12.5 TFLs. Junior defensive end
Andre Walker has 3.5 sacks and owns the school career record with 10. Sophomore safety

Ty Brock has completed 159-of-280 passes for 2,166 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Bearkats (5-5, 4-4). Nathan Stewart has made 51 catches for 963 yards and four touchdowns, while Davion Davis has 52 catches for 569 yards and 10 touchdowns. Kyran Jackson is SHSU's leading rusher with 752 yards and eight scores.

Hunter Brown has made 90 tackles for SHSU, while Derick Roberson has 59 stops and is tied for the national lead with 14 sacks. DJ Curtis and Jaylen Thomas each have two interceptions.
