Biography

2017: Lewis earned All-Southland Conference First Team honors…fourth on the team with 62 tackles…led the Southland with 16 passes defended, ranking third in the league with four interceptions for 158 yards, including a league-leading two for touchdowns…recorded the longest play in HBU history with a 96-yard interception return for a touchdown against Lamar (11/11)…posted the first two-interception performance in school history at McNeese (9/23), returning one for a touchdown…made a career-high 12 tackles at Stephen F. Austin (10/21)…made eight tackles and an interception at Nicholls (11/4) and eight tackles and a pass breakup against Central Arkansas (10/7)…broke up four passes at Texas Southern (9/7).
 
Previous School: Played two seasons at Sacramento City Community College for coach Dannie Walker…as a sophomore, appeared in nine games, recording 38 tackles (8 solo), three interceptions and eight pass breakups…made a season-high eight tackles at Contra Costa (9/10/16)…as a freshman, played in eight games, posting 17 tackles (15 solo), one interception and one pass breakup…had a season-high four tackles at Laney (9/4/15) and against Butte (10/31/15).
