HOUSTON - Homecoming will be a fitting theme as HBU returns after three-straight road games to host Stephen F. Austin in Southland Conference football Saturday at 6:04 p.m. at Husky Stadium.

Sophomore quarterback
Bailey Zappe leads the Southland and is tied for second nationally with 16 touchdowns, completing 145-of-242 passes for 1,703 yards for the Huskies (1-5, 0-4 SLC). Freshman
Jerreth Sterns has made 33 receptions for 339 yards, three touchdowns and also thrown a 42-yard touchdown pass. Senior
David Racine has 15 catches for 294 yards and three touchdowns and junior
Jeremy Smith also has three touchdown catches. Sophomore running back
Dreshawn Minnieweather has rushed for 359 yards and four touchdowns, while sophomore running back
LaDarius Dickens has two receiving touchdowns, one rushing touchdown and a kickoff return for a score.

Sophomore linebacker
Langston Tunson ranks second nationally with 14.2 tackles per game and sophomore linebacker
Caleb Johnson is second on the team with 60 tackles, 7.5 for loss and a pair of fumble recoveries, one of which he returned for a touchdown. Senior linebacker
Kyle Bowling has made 48 tackles and a pair of interceptions. Junior defensive end
Andre Walker leads HBU with 3.5 sacks and is the Huskies' all-time leader with 10. Sophomore safety
Patrick Wolfe has two of HBU's eight interceptions.

Jake Blumrick has completed 77-of-128 passes for 857 yards, four touchdowns and five interceptions, while Foster Sawyer has completed 59-of-113 passes for 485 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions for SFA (1-5, 1-4). Terian Goree has 35 receptions for 366 yards and two touchdowns, while Remi Simmons has 32 catches for 295 yards and a score and Tamrick Pace has 18 catrches for 234 yards and two touchdowns. Jamall Shaw is the team's leading rusher with 203 yards.

Ryan Woods and Alize Ward each have 34 tackles to lead the Lumberjacks and Lawrence Ghansah has 33. Demetrion Amie has two sacks and four players have recorded one interception.

SFA leads the all-time series against HBU, 3-1, claiming a 27-10 victory last year in Nacogdoches. The Huskies won the last meeting in Houston, 31-24, on Nov. 12, 2016.

The Huskies will be back in action and making their first trip to Natchitoches, Louisiana, to face Northwestern State Saturday, Oct. 27 at 6 p.m.
