HOUSTON – Central Arkansas won the top four pairings for a 4-1 victory over HBU in beach volleyball Friday night at Third Coast Volleyball Club.
The Huskies (9-9) got on the board first with the No. 5 pair of sophomore

Danielle Wheeler cruising past the Bears' MacKenzie Dear and Amy South, 21-18, 21-12. UCA evened the match at the No. 4 position, with Kellen Dunn and MC Rogers outlasting seniors

The No. 3 spot was tightly contested with UCA's Kate Eiman and Heather Schnors clipping HBU senior

Bailey Banks, 20-22, 21-17, 15-13. The Bears then won at No. 2, as Kris Hjembo and Steph Pollnow downing Huskies senior
Kayla Armer and freshman Tori Hinjosa, 23-21, 21-17. In the matchup of No. 1s, UCA's Haley Tippett and Megan Nash slipped past HBU senior

Aeriel Horton, 21-17, 23-21.
The Huskies will host the HBU Beach Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Third Coast, with UCA also competing, along with seventh-ranked LSU, Tulane, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and Texas A&M-Kingsville.
