HOUSTON – HBU beach volleyball will battle Central Arkansas in a dual match Friday, before hosting the HBU Beach Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Third Coast Volleyball Club.
The Huskies and the Bears square off Friday at 7 p.m. and marks the second meeting this year between the Southland Conference member schools. UCA defeated HBU, 4-1, last weekend in Monroe, Louisiana.
HBU opens the HBU Beach Invitational against Texas A&M-Kingsville Saturday at 11 a.m., followed by a seventh-ranked LSU at 7 p.m. The matchup between the Huskies' and Tigers' top pairs will be shown live on ESPN3, beginning at 8:07 CDT.
The Huskies wrap up the tournament against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Sunday at 1 p.m., then face Tulane, which is just outside the national rankings, at 5 p.m.
Third Coast Volleyball Club is located at 5652 Forney Drive, approximately 2.5 miles from campus, near the intersection of Hillcroft and Harwin.
