HOUSTON – HBU beach volleyball will host its first of two home tournaments of the season, welcoming four regional opponents for the Third Coast Classic Friday at Saturday at Third Coach Volleyball Club.
HBU (5-5) is led by its top duo of senior
Jessica Wooten and
Aeriel Horton, who are 7-3, and its No. 2 pair of senior
Kayla Armer and freshman
Tori Hinojosa, who are 8-2.
The Huskies will face New Orleans Friday at 1 p.m., followed by ULM at 7 p.m. On Saturday, HBU takes on Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at 1 p.m., then wrap up the tournament against Texas A&M-Kingsville at 5 p.m.
Third Coast is located 2.5 miles from the HBU campus at 5652 Forney Dr. near the intersection of Hillcroft Ave. and Harwin Dr.
