HOUSTON – HBU women's basketball is set for a pair of non-conference home games, starting with Paul Quinn on Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m in Sharp Gym. The Legacy Sports Network audio and video broadcast with Bill Cousins will be available at HBUHuskies.com.
Junior guard
Amanda Johnson leads the Huskies (2-4) in scoring, shooting 45.9 percent from the field with 15.0 points per game, while also leading in rebounds with 5.3 a game. Johnson has scored in double-figures in three out of the Huskies' six games, most recently a 26-point game at UTEP on Dec. 2. Sophomore guard
Sophie Taylor has also shot for double-figures in three games, including the last two. Taylor averages 10.2 points and 3.3 rebounds. Sophomore guard

Veronika Kirienko adds 6.0 points a game.
Paul Quinn (3-4) has lost its last three games, after a 75-64 loss against Henderson State on Nov. 28. Te'Ana Washington leads the Lady Tigers, averaging 12.7 points. Amanda Cruz contributes 10.7 points, while Laura Chavez adds 10.0 points a game. Raven Ringo is the top rebounder for Paul Quinn, pulling down 6.6 rebounds a game.
The Huskies will remain at home for a 5 p.m. tip-off on Sunday, Dec. 10, before traveling for to Louisiana two games, facing Louisiana-Monroe on Tuesday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. and Louisiana Tech on Thursday, Dec. 21 at 6:30 p.m.
