"We played hard and put together a pretty good game today," said head coach
Misty Jones. "Unfortunately, we didn't create enough goal-scoring opportunities. We did have one that hit the crossbar and bounced on the goal line that would have tied the game, but we fought hard until the final whistle. I'm proud of the effort and the first we showed. We will bounce back for our final conference games at home."
The Huskies have three more regular season contests on the schedule, beginning this coming Friday, Oct. 20, when they host Lamar followed by McNeese on Sunday, Oct. 22, at Sorrels Field.
