BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky - HBU faces an FBS opponent for the first time in program history, when the Huskies hit the road to take on defending Conference USA champion Western Kentucky Saturday at 6 p.m. at Houchins-Smith Stadium. The Huskies (2-2) fell to second-ranked Sam Houston State last week in the final game of a three-game homestand, which saw HBU go 2-1 with victories over crosstown rival Texas Southern and Southland foe Abilene Christian. Junior running back
Terrance Peters leads HBU with 372 rushing yards and four touchdowns, while senior quarterback
Tony Dawson has completed 57-of-113 passes for 669 yards, two touchdowns, no interceptions, and has added 138 rushing yards and a score. Junior
Isaiah Hall is the Huskies' leading receiver with 21 catches, while junior
Wesley Lewis leads in receiving yardage with 217 and a touchdown, the game-winner in overtime against ACU.

Defensively, junior linebacker
Garrett Dolan leads the Southland and ranks third nationally with 13.0 tackles per game, racking up 52, including 2.0 sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Senior linebacker

La'Travien Gee has made 25 stops, broken up a pair of passes and recovered a fumble. Junior cornerback

Christian Guzman is averaging 40.4 yards per kick, with a season long of 59, all in the air, against SHSU last week. Sophomore kicker
Alec Chadwick is 6-for-9 on field goal attempts, already tying the HBU single-season record for field goals made, including a school-record 46-yarder last week against the Bearkats.

WKU (2-2) is coming off a 31-30 overtime loss to Vanderbilt at home. Mike White has completed 76-of-124 passes for 1,142 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions. Anthony Wales is the Hilltoppers' leading rusher with 254 yards and four touchdowns. WKU has a talented receiver duo in Taywan Taylor, who has 26 catches for 456 yards and a touchdown, and Nicholas Norris, who has 24 catches for 399 yards and three touchdown grabs.

Keith Brown leads WKU on defense with 37 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery, while Branden Leston has posted 33 tackles and T.J. McCollum has 32 tackles and a forced fumble. Three different Hilltoppers have an interception each.

On special teams, Ryan Nuss is 5-for-7 on field goals, and Jake Collins is averaging 43.7 yards on 19 punts.

The Huskies will have next week off, before returning to host Nicholls on Homecoming Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at Husky Stadium. HBU will then finish the season with four of their last five on the road.
