CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – After having over a week off, the HBU beach volleyball team is ready to hit the sand when the Huskies take part in the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
The Huskies play the Islanders Friday at 5 p.m. before competing twice on Saturday, beginning with a 10 a.m. first serve against TCU and ending with TAMU-CC at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free and the matches will be held at the volleyball courts inside the Dugan Family Track and Soccer Stadium on the TAMU-CC campus.
HBU (3-2) last competed at TCU's Fight at the Fort on March 19-20, where the Huskies went 1-2, defeating TAMU-CC and falling to the Horned Frogs and No. 2 Florida State. The duos of

This weekend marks a historic occasion for TAMU-CC (0-5) as it will be the first home matches in program history. Three of the Islanders' five losses have come to HBU.
TCU (19-4) is in its second season of beach volleyball. The Horned Frogs last went 3-1 at the South Carolina Gamecock Invitational on March 26-27.
