HOUSTON - The HBU men's basketball team will close their home schedule, hosting Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for "Senior Night" in a 7:30 p.m. tip on Thursday. ESPN3 will broadcast the game as part of a doubleheader with women's basketball with Lyn Rollins on the call and Ben Braun providing color, while the Legacy Sports Network with Lonnie King will carry the audio broadcast on HBUHuskies.com. The doubleheader marks the first nationally broadcast games inside Sharp Gym in school history.

Jourdan Stickler, will be honored in a pregame ceremony before tipoff.
The Huskies (16-13, 10-6 SLC) are coming off an 82-54 loss at Stephen F. Austin on Saturday to close the month of February. Despite the loss, results around the league officially secured the No. 4 seed for HBU in the 2016 Southland Conference Tournament.
The Huskies, who rank 25th in the country in field goal percentage (.480), lead the conference in defensive rebounding (26.5 per game) and sit second in field goal percentage defense (.430), third in scoring (77.3 per game) and fourth in blocks (4.2 per game).
In league play, sophomore
Josh Ibarra leads all in field goal percentage (.686), while Odunsi ranks third in scoring (20.1 per game). On the season, Ibarra leads the SLC from the field (.631) and Stickler sits fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (.424). Odunsi, who is third in the league in scoring (17.6 per game), ranks fourth at the NCAA Division I level in both free throws made (213) and overall attempts (254).
Freshman
Isaiah Robinson is third in the SLC in blocks (2.2 per game), sitting fifth in the country among all freshman and 36th overall. He is also tied for 13th among freshman with 48 total blocks.
The Islanders enter the weekend at 22-6 overall (13-3 SLC) under head coach Willis Wilson. TAMU-CC leads the nation in steals (10.0 per game) and ranks 10th in turnover margin (+3.9). Junior Hameed Ali ranks second in the country in both steals (2.96 per game) and total steals (83). Junior Rashawn Thomas leads the conference in rebounding (8.4 per game) and double-doubles (9), also ranking second in blocks (2.4 per game) and fourth in scoring (17.4 per game).
