FORT WORTH, Texas – Coming off two wins to open their inaugural season, the HBU beach volleyball team will look to continue their success, participating in the Fight at the Fort across March 19-20.
Hosted by TCU, the Huskies will play three matches, facing No. 2 Florida State, the Horned Frogs and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, at the TCU Beach Volleyball Courts.

HBU will open the tournament with an 11 a.m. first serve against FSU on Saturday, before seeing TAMU-CC at 4 p.m. The Huskies will close their participation with an 11 a.m. match with TCU on Sunday in the tournament finale.

HBU at TCU, 11 a.m. The Huskies are already familiar with one opponent, having played TAMU-CC in two matches on Thursday, winning 3-2 and 5-0. Like HBU, the Islanders are in their inaugural season.

Ashlee Vann, who are all 2-0 on the season.
FSU enters weekend with a perfect 9-0 record and ranked second nationally. The Seminoles have defeated six ranked opponents, downing No. 17 South Carolina (5-0), No. 15 Grand Canyon (3-2), No. 4/6 Long Beach State (5-0), No. 7/3 UCLA (3-2), No. 20 Loyola Marymount (5-0) and No. 2 USC (3-2). Seminoles Victoria Paranagua and Kristina Pellitteri are the reigning Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The duo are 9-0 one the season.
TCU is 4-2 on the season and is coming off a 2-1 showing against Hawaii-Pacific (W, 5-0), Chaminade (W, 5-0) and No. 5 Hawaii (L, 5-0) in Honolulu. Horned Frogs Jillian Bergeson and Jaelyn Greene opened the season 5-0 before dropping their first match against Hawaii. All four other TCU pairs hold 4-2 records with losses to Arizona and Hawaii.
Following the weekend tournament, HBU will next compete at TAMU-CC on March 31.
