NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The HBU men's basketball team was unable to overcome a season-high 25 turnovers in falling 82-54 at Stephen F. Austin on Saturday night inside Johnson Coliseum.

Anthony Odunsi led the Huskies (16-13, 10-6 SLC) with 15 points on 5-for-10 shooting with a 3-pointer and four made free throws. Senior
Jourdan Stickler netted 11, shooting 5-for-7 from the field with one hit from deep.
HBU shot 48.8 percent (21-43) from the field, 25.0 percent (3-12) from the 3-point line and 50.0 percent (9-18) at the line.

Caleb Crayton and Odunsi combined for four points to give the Huskies their first lead of the game, 10-9, at the 14:38 mark.
Both teams swapped the lead four times and sat tied at 18-18 when the 'Jacks capitalized on a trey from Demetrious Floyd and two free throws from Clide Geffrard, who led all with a career-high 23 points, to go up by five points, 23-18, with 8:21 left in the half.
The Huskies made one more push, as Stickler hit a 3-pointer and jumper on consecutive possessions and freshman
Isaiah Robinson connected for two free throws to tie the game at 24-all at the 4:07 mark. However, SFA responded with a layup on the ensuing possession and outscored the Huskies 16-3 over the final four minutes to enter the lockerroom up 40-27.
The 'Jacks led wire-to-wire in the second half in securing no worse than a share of the Southland Conference regular season title, their fourth consecutive crown, and the top seed in the upcoming league tournament.
