HBU, currently fourth in the league standings, is first in the SLC in both field goal percentage (.479) and defensive rebounding (26.7 per game), second in field goal percentage defense (.429), third in scoring (78.1 per game) and fourth in blocks (4.4 per game), scoring margin (+3.8) and rebounding margin (+1.9). Josh Ibarra leads all in field goal percentage (.686) and junior
Alex Fountain holds the mark in free throw percentage (.941), while Odunsi ranks third in scoring (20.4 per game). On the season, Ibarra leads the league from the field (.631) and senior
Jourdan Stickler sits fourth in 3-point field goal percentage (.423). Odunsi, who is third in the conference in scoring (17.7 per game), ranks third at the NCAA Division I level with 209 made free throws and fourth with 248 attempts.
Freshman
Isaiah Robinson is second in the SLC in blocks (2.7 per game), sitting fourth in the country among all freshman and 31st overall. He is also tied for 14th among freshman with 47 total blocks.
The Lumberjacks enter the weekend at 21-5 overall under head coach Brad Underwood and sit atop the SLC standings with a 14-0 record, the only school in the country still unbeaten in league play. SFA ranks second in the NCAA in turnover margin (5.6 per game), third in assists (18.9 per game), fifth in scoring margin (+15.0) and ninth in steals (8.8 per game). Senior Trey Pinkney ranks sixth in the country in assist/turnover ratio (4.05 per game). Senior Thomas Walkup leads the 'Jacks in scoring (17.2 points per game), field goal percentage (.586), assists (4.3 per game) and steals (1.9 per game).
In their meeting earlier this season on Feb. 6, SFA escaped the Huskies with a 72-66 decision in Sharp Gym. Odunsi led HBU with 22 points, while Walkup led the 'Jacks with a career-high 35 points and 12 rebounds.
Following Saturday's tilt, HBU will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in a 7:30 p.m. on Thursday on ESPN3.
