Postgame Quotes – Head Coach Ron CottrellOpening comments…"Abilene Christian is a really pesky team with the ability to hang in games and cause people trouble. They are a good offensive team and that makes them hard to put away. I was very pleased with how we handled Parker Wentz (six points) and kept him in control a lot better than we did when we played up at ACU. I also thought we did a good job on Jaylen Franklin and some of their other guys as well. Isaiah (Robinson) certainly created a presence for us inside with six blocks tonight. "I am happy with the way we continued to fight. We know we didn't play as well as we would've liked to, but I will certainly take this one." On Jourdan Stickler's 3-point shooting…"Early in our previous game, he really got us going with three 3-pointers early in the first half that lit us up and got us excited. Tonight, he was a spark for us late. He is a player that just rides the wave. He is a confidence player and when he's on a roll, he's on a roll. He is an asset for us. It's good to have shooters like him." On significance of the win…"Every win is so important for us, because we are playing for seeding in the upcoming conference tournament. We want to be as high a seed as we can. The top four teams get one bye and the top two get two, so these games matter."
