PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The HBU volleyball team will look to continue their hot start to the 2015 season on Tuesday, opening their road schedule with a 6:30 p.m. match at Prairie View A&M. 
The Huskies are coming off a 3-0 showing in their host tournament – Marriott Houston Westchase Invitational – downing Alcorn State, UT Rio Grande Valley and Louisiana Tech in straight sets to mark the program's best set-start (nine consecutive set victories) to a season in the Division I era. 
For their efforts, HBU placed three Huskies on the all-tournament team in 
Kayla Armer (MVP), 
Blair Gillard and 
Jessica Wooten. HBU outhit opponents .318 to -.014 across nine sets, picking up 47 more kills with 81 total. 
The Panthers enter the midweek tilt 0-4 on the season, falling in straight sets to Sam Houston State (host), UTSA, Tulane and Montana State over the weekend at the Bearkat Volleyball Invitational. 
PVAMU is led by sophomore Jasmine Lewis with 21 kills, while freshman Marissa Campbell (15 kills) leads the team with a .243 clip. On the season, the Panthers are being outhit .370 to .065. 
Following the quick jaunt over to Prairie View, the Huskies will take part in the Lumberjack Classic, hosted by Northern Arizona across Friday and Saturday. HBU will join Liberty and Loyola Marymount as participating teams in the tournament.
