Zeek Woodley is the nation's leading scorer with 22.8 points per game and pulls down 4.7 rebounds per game for Northwestern State (5-6). Jalan West averages 15.8 points per game and leads the nation with 8.5 assists per game. Marvin Frazier chips in with 10.7 points and leads the Demons with 7.3 rebounds per game.
The Huskies are coming off a 98-47 victory over Ecclesia Tuesday, in which Lasher scored 15 points, junior guard

Josh Ibarra posted 11 rebounds and four blocked shots. The Demons took care of Louisiana College, 94-68, Wednesday afternoon. Five players scored in double figures for Northwestern State, led by Woodley, who had 20. West added 11 points and nine assists, and Frazier had 13 points and seven rebounds.
Northwestern State has a slim edge in the all-time series against HBU, leading 14-13. The Huskies won the last meeting between the two schools, 98-97, on Jan. 11, 2014, at Sharp Gym. Smith scored a career-high 21 points, while senior guard
Tyler Russell came of the bench to score 16 points, including the game-winning basket with two seconds left. West had 31 points and eight assists, while Woodley had 24 points.
The Huskies will be on the road for three-straight conference games in Louisiana, beginning with McNeese State Monday at 7 p.m. in Lake Charles. HBU also faces Southeastern Louisiana on Jan. 10 in Hammond and Nicholls on Jan. 13 in Thibodaux, then will not have to leave the state of Texas during its final 14 games.
