HBU leads the all-time series, 5-1-1, but the two teams battled to a 1-1 double overtime tie on Sept. 5 in Houston.
HBU (1-2-2) earned its first win of the season as the Huskies shutout Belmont, 4-0, and split at the Lipscomb Invitational. Four different Huskies scored a goal, including
Alex Baez, who tallied his first collegiate.
Gustavo Alvarado had two assists.
Patrick Toh leads the team with three goals and seven points.
Tobenna Uzo is next with six points. Alvarado has a team-best three assists.
Philip Poser earned the shutout win Friday against Belmont in his first action, making three saves.
Kevin Suarez is 0-2-2 with a 2.25 GAA, and a .737 save percentage.
After starting the season 2-0-1, Oral Roberts (2-2-1) has lost two straight, with the latest setback coming in Dallas against SMU, 2-0, Sept. 19.
Johnny Chavez - who scored against HBU back in early September - leads the team with two goals and four points. He has a team-best seven shots, while Matthew Rogers has six shots on goal.
Ben LaCourse is 2-2-1 in goal with a 1.49 GAA, a .789 save percentage, and one shutout.
After the game at ORU, HBU opens Western Athletic Conference play at Incarnate Word Oct. 3 at 7:30 pm.
