Friday will mark the first meeting on the pitch between the Huskies and Bulldogs.
HBU tied SMU in Dallas, 1-1, on Aug. 17, then defeated visiting San Jacinto, 3-0, and St. Edward's, 3-1, on Aug. 20 and 23, respectively.
HBU returns leading scorer,
Tobenna Uzo, who scored 11 goals for 22 points. He had two, 2-goal matches. He was chosen the WAC Preseason Offensive Player of the Year by the league head coaches.
Senior
Kevin Suarez is back between the pipes. He made two saves and did not allow a goal in 155 minutes in preseason play. HBU went 9-7-2 overall and 4-4-2 in its first season in the WAC last season.
Drake lost two, 1-goal home exhibition matches by identical 2-1 scores to Loras and Luther. The Luther Norse scored the game winner on a penalty kick in the 88th minute for the win.
The Bulldogs went 8-8-4 and finished second in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 3-1-2 mark. Similar to the Huskies, Drake also brings several newcomers - 12 to be exact - to complement a slew of veterans.
