Men's Hoops Wraps Up Texas Road Swing at UIW

Huskies take on Cardinals Saturday, before returning home for six of last seven.

SAN ANTONIO - HBU wrap up a four-game road swing against Incarnate Word in Southland Conference basketball Saturday at 4 p.m. at the McDermott Center. The Legacy Sport Network audio broadcast with Lonnie King will be available beginning with the pre-game show at 3:40 p.m.
 
Sophomore forward Cody Joyce leads HBU (4-19, 1-10 SLC) with 11.0 point per game and has scored in double figures in 13 of the last 14 games. Sophomore guard Rob Lewis averages 10.5 points per game primarily off the bench, while junior guard Tyler Russell adds 9.6 points per game. Sophmore forward Dauson Womack leads the Huskies with 4.7 rebounds per game. Freshman guard Jimmy Barton has started the last four games averaged 5.3 assists per game in those contests.
 
UIW (17-5, 5-4) has four players averaging in double figures, led by Denzel Livingston at 19.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Kyle Hittle averages 17.1 points per game, while Anthony Horton and Sam Burmeister each average 11.3 points per game. Ian Markoff leads the Cardinals with 7.6 rebounds per game.
 
UIW leads the all-time series with HBU, 15-1, but the Huskies' lone victory came in the last meeting, an 80-67 win in San Antonio on Jan. 2, 2007.
