2012-13 (Freshman): Joyce appeared in 29 games, making 17 starts...averaged 3.9 points, 2.6 rebounds per game and tied for second on the team with 14 blocked shots…scored a season-high 10 points at Utah Valley (1/12)…scored nine points three times…pulled down a season-high eight boards against Arlington Baptist (12/18)…had seven rebounds at LSU (12/28).
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a two-year letterwinner at Southern High School for coach Ray Bowen…averaged 14.5 points, 14.4 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game as a senior…recorded a double-double in 20 of 23 games…was a two-time all-county and two time honorable mention all-state selection…was a spent one season at prep school, averaging 10 points and 12 rebounds for coach Will Maynard at Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, Va. …helped lead the squad to a 28-8 record and a spot in the Elite Eight at the National Prep Tournament…was honored as Minds in Motion, earning a 3.25 GPA or better each year during basketball season…was a two-year letterwinner on the Southern lacrosse team.
